
Tony Owens has been a civil litigator since 1992 and has tried over 100 civil jury trials across the State of Texas. Tony founded the Law Offices of Tony Owens, a multi-location law firm in the Dallas/Fort Worth area.
Tony was named the first Deputy Associate Commissioner of Health Plan Monitoring and Contract Services at the Texas Health & Human Services Commission where he helped oversee a $70B biennial budget at Medicaid & CHIP. At the Texas Office of Inspector General, Tony was named the first Deputy Inspector General for Third Party Recovery where he led the team that was able to return over $350M annually in tax dollars back into the state’s coffers.
Tony was elected to and served 3 terms as Trustee, Place 1, Eagle Mountain-Saginaw ISD.
Tony is married, has 3 daughters, and is an avid car nut.
