Andrew Scott’s practice areas include administrative law, construction law, environmental law, business law and complex commercial litigation.
Prior to joining the firm, Andrew practiced at one of the oldest law firms in Fort Worth, where he primarily represented clients with environmental, construction, and complex business disputes in Texas. Prior to that, Andrew practiced in Austin, where his practice focused on advocating for general contractors, subcontractors, suppliers and owners on a variety of construction related issues including litigation, contract negotiations and alternative dispute resolution.
Andrew also served as Assistant Attorney General in the Office of the Attorney General of Texas where he was a member of the opioid trial team.
In 2019, Andrew was appointed to serve on the Texas Tax Professional Advisory Committee, the governing body overseeing the licensing and enforcement of property tax professionals in Texas.
Andrew graduated from the University of Kansas with a B.A. in political science before attending Texas Tech University, where he earned his J.D.
